Thirty-five years ago today you squared off in the Rumble in the Jungle. Don King (who is pictured with a giant gun on his Wikipedia page) helped organize the event that captured the attention of the sporting world.
Since the fight, you have both gone on to do different things — grills and cauldron-lighting, respectively — but you’ll be remembered for the savage battle in Kinshasa, Zaire’s Mai 20 Stadium.
The Rumble in the Jungle is why we watch sports. It’s also why we award beers.
