Tonight, you lead the New York Yankees into the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. It’s a big change from your first season helming The Ship That Steinbrenner Built when your squad failed to make the postseason for the first time in 14 seasons. This 2009 version, however, likes each other, enjoys throwing pies at teammates after walk-off wins, and generally has to be considered the favorite to bring home their 27th championship. Of course, while you were solid throughout the regular season, you’ve been getting skewered in the playoffs for some curious calls. These choices didn’t come back to haunt you during the American League Championship Series, but we’ll feel for you if you slip up tonight or later in the Fall Classic. New York is an unforgiven place. Luckily, the beer is quite tasty.
