We’re buying a beer for… Dolf van den Brink

As commercial director and deputy general manager of Bralima, Heineken’s operating company in the Democratic Republic of Congo, you helped bring the green-bottled beer into the darkest parts of Africa. In your next job, you’ll tackle an even denser market: The United States of America.
Yesterday, Heineken USA announced that you’ll become its new president and CEO, effective tomorrow. You’re the third person to hold to position in the past three years, so you’ll need all the luck you can get. (And maybe some new Linked In friends.)
At least you have the support of John Nicolson, Heineken’s regional president for the Americas.
“I am delighted to have someone of [your] vitality, leadership capability and commercial experience to lead our U.S. business,” he said in a release “[Your] track record of growing brands and developing people across both mature and developing markets is outstanding.
Also, Dolf, awesome name. Enjoy the Heineken.

This is the picture of his dad. The picture of the young Dolf is available on the Heineken press release.
