It took well over a decade, multiple guitarists, and 14 different studios, but “Chinese Democracy” has finally arrived. Chuck Klosterman likes it (arguably more than he did in the fake review published two years ago), so you have that going for you. The Chinese government are are pissed at you for some reason, so there’s another check mark in the Yes box.

We, quite frankly, don’t care what “CD” sounds like. (An ironic abbreviation, considering this is widely hailed as the last traditional “album” and everyone knows we don’t listen to cds anymore.) The point is that it’s here and we can finally stop talking and start listening. So Axl, here’s a beer, 17 years in the making.
